Our Mission Statement: 4, November 2003
Our radio program, 'Black Economics in the 21st Century' will begin on January 03, 2004, announcing a movement to begin to re-direct the spending habits of Black people in particular. This movement is primarily directed at Black people because they have a national collective spending power well worth overt 600 billion dollars and that economic wealth is not spent with quality Black owned businesses and services. In fact, out of one a dollar bill only $.03 is spent at a Black facility. The remaining $.97 is spent with all other ethnic groups. This particular spending habit occurs every 12 months. That is, annually other ethnic businesses collect huge profits each year allowing them to grow, expand, offer sales and gain tremendous economic advantages.
The movement will begin with dialogue allowing the public to phone in and communicate their experiences and opinions concerning the subject. They (the callers) will hear from Black Scholars like Dr. Claud Anderson, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, Author, Jim Clingman, former Mayor, Marion Berry and many others. Each show will involve the listening audience to phone the Telephone Black Community Calendar (202) 298-1187 to leave their name and number to participate in the upcoming 'Black Economic Summit 2004.' They will be asked to bring their checkbooks, credit cards, dollar bills, money orders, pennies and quarters to spend at our Afrikan Market Mall. Workshops will be set up and the primary focus will be to teach and train the consumers, the responsibility to Black Economics.
We all have that responsibility. It is strongly recommended to each entrepreneur to attend an entrepreneur workshop prior to the economic summit.
REMEMBER, THIS IS A MOVEMENT. DON’T SAY YOU DON’T HAVE TIME. MAKE TIME.
Organize as entrepreneurs. Unite as entrepreneurs. Come and practice and know the philosophy of this movement. Each one will help each one.
WE CAN DO THIS, WE MUST DO THIS AND WE WILL DO THIS.
We will re-direct the spending power of Black Consumers in America. We will economically support quality black owned businesses and services and then we can strive to attract dollars from other ethnic groups to our businesses.
With over 600 billion dollars – we as people must own and operate farmland, hospitals and universities to begin with. We especially as entrepreneurs must teach, train and trade with one another, setting an example of UNITY. That is imperative. As an entrepreneur you can’t come blind to the Economic Summit with our current mind set and lack of understanding of a Black, healthy, philosophy of UNITY - we only continue our present mis-educated practice of capitalism. Look deeper at this matter because the present system has produced over 600 billion dollars away from our group. Yes, the system does work. However, not for the economic benefit of Black people.
It’s detrimental! It’s economic suicide! It’s embarrassing! It’s shameful! It’s an economic abomination!
This is a movement.
It is right
It is good
It is time.
All Of The Glory Belongs To God.
